Helping You on Your Path to Wellness

Life can be really hard on us, and sometimes we need some help, someone who will listen without judging or telling us how we should feel or what we should do. Sometimes we just want to be heard. While we may or may not know what we have or what we are dealing with, we are certain that we want to feel better.

Depression, anxiety and other mental health issues are extremely common, so if you are experiencing any of these or if they are happening more frequently now more than ever, you are not alone. It can be very difficult to reach out for help, so if you’re reading this you’ve already taken that first big step. I’m ready to join and support you as you continue down the path to feeling better.

I strongly believe in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. To that end, I take special care in cultivating and maintaining our relationship, placing special emphasis on trust, respect and unconditional positive regard without judgment. My primary approaches to treatment are cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy and solution-focused therapy and I adapt the use of each to what suits you, the client, best.

If this sounds like a setting that will put you at ease and one in which you can explore, examine and process the distress you are experiencing, I encourage you to set up an appointment with me. Or, if you’d like to have a brief chat before meeting, I’m happy to do that as well; I can appreciate wanting to get a feel for whether there is a connection before coming in for a session. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
